Creative Expressions Counseling Client-Centered Therapy and Art Therapy in Mansfield, CT
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Clinically Licensed Art Therapist (CLAT) dedicated to helping individuals navigate the complexities of life’s challenges. With over a decade of work experience, I bring a compassionate, client-centered approach to therapy. I work alongside you to process emotions, understand experiences, and develop strategies for managing stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and other emotional difficulties.
I strive to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow at your own pace. My style blends warmth, creativity, and gentle honesty. When helpful, I incorporate art therapy to deepen insight and promote healing—no artistic experience needed, just a willingness to explore.

I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults, and am especially passionate about supporting those navigating life transitions, intense emotions, and identity development.
I provide in-person therapy in Storrs, Connecticut, and offer online therapy across the state of Connecticut. My approach integrates talk therapy, expressive arts, and evidence-based techniques to help you build insight and lasting change.
You might be wondering what the difference is—and which one is right for you.
Counseling is often short-term and solution-focused, helping you manage specific concerns like stress, life transitions, or relationship difficulties.
Therapy typically goes deeper, offering a longer-term space to explore and heal from emotional or psychological struggles such as trauma, depression, or anxiety.
Art Therapy uses creative expression to explore and process feelings—especially when words aren’t enough. It can provide powerful insight and emotional release, even if you don’t consider yourself “artistic.”
I do all of the above.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Art Therapist, I tailor each session to your needs—whether you’re looking for practical tools, emotional healing, creative exploration, or even if you’re not quite sure what you need or where to start. We’ll work together to find the right approach to support your growth and well-being.

You don’t need to have any artistic skills to benefit from art therapy! As a licensed art therapist, I’m trained to use art as a way to help explore and express emotions. However, if you're not comfortable with the idea of making art, that’s perfectly okay, there’s no pressure! We can explore other therapeutic approaches that work best for you
